It's an improv-heavy week, as the March Madness-style tournament shows continue to gobble up immense amounts of talent from Westwood to East Hollywood. Beyond that, newcomer indie improv shows are putting up a very good showing, meaning there's no better time to get out and see some of the most spontaneous, diverse comedy going.

If you've got a show you'd like to see listed in the future, email me!

MONDAY 3/19/12

Set List, 8p Nerdist Theater. Each stand up is given their own set list of topics they’ve never seen before walking on stage to act like everything’s cool. Steve Agee, Dana Gould, Moshe Kasher, Jen Kirkman and a few others will be there.

Sad People Talking, 8p Royal/T. This Culver City show keeps rolling along, and this week has Iliza Shlesinger, Jon Daly, Shelby Fero and a bunch more great comics.

TUESDAY 3/20/12

TNT March Madness, 7p The Underground Theatre. It’s the 5th Annual tournament for the TNT guys, who will be helping to whittle down 28 teams to a single winner, all in one night.

WEDNESDAY 3/21/12

Bar Bingo, 6:30p iO West. More a bar game than a show, this is still a great idea: your bingo sheets are just squares filled with all sorts of Hollywood Blvd. stereotypes, from overweight meter maids to anyone in a rock band t-shirt.

Room 101 Charity Show, 8p The Complex - Flight Theater. Room 101 is the best indie improv show running, and their consistent charity shows are always incredible. This time around, UCB Harold team Winslow is playing alongside Dierkes & Fernie, Golgotha, Shitty Jobs and more!

THURSDAY 3/22/12

Buzz & Diane, 9:30p UCB. The year is 1979, this brother-sister variety duo are putting on a television show! Hurry, before things get... awkward.

Where Eagles Dare, 8p Little Modern Theater. There’s yet another indie improv show in town, and this one has a real punk rock sensibility. They’ve also got Typhoon plus sketches by Jumbo Mumbo.

FRIDAY 3/23/12

The Manifesto Show, 8p ArtWorks Theater. This new weekly improv show has pulled in every UCB Harold team for ONE NIGHT of mind-blowing improv.

American Ham, 8:30p Largo. Nick Offerman is back to bring the bacon at Largo, with stories, jokes and guests galore.

SATURDAY 3/24/12

Left, Right and Ridiculous, 8:30p Hollywood Improv. Jimmy Dore skewers the news, politics, and any bit of celebrity that falls in his path.

The Armando Show, 9p iO West. The premiere iO improv show has guest monologists Garfunkle & Oates.

SUNDAY 3/25/12
