This coming Saturday night, you can go listen to six women talk publicly about their sex lives thanks to author Anna David's new storytelling show at The Mint, True Tales of Lust and Love from Writers and Comedians.
The show had its inaugural performance in January, and Saturday's event will mark its third iteration. Past readings, says David, have included stories about "a girl having amazing sex with a disgusting Southern guy who talked dirty and made her pay for dinner, a guy who was a feeder and tried to fatten this girl up so he'd be more attracted to her and a guy who called a girl 'cunty' for not giving more hand jobs."
This month, she says, performers will delight the audience with tales of internet dates, sex with Iraqi war vets, and robbing the cradle. The line-up includes David, Jenna Brister, Jodi Miller, Amy Dresner, Melinda Hill and Marianne Sierk.
Tickets are $8, and the show starts at 7:00 p.m.
