Small Plane Carrying Drugs Enters No Fly Zone Over L.A. During Obama Visit [UPDATED]

cessna-172-drawing.jpg A small aircraft violated the no-fly zone restriction around Los Angeles International Airport today as President Barack Obama was in the area aboard Marine One, reports NBC News.

The single-engine aircraft, a Cessna 182, was surrounded by NORAD fighter jets and escorted down to Long Beach Airport.

Upon landing and inspection, law enforcement personnel discovered the plane was carrying an unspecified amount of marijuana.

"The president was never in danger," adds NBC.
