Ludo Baby Bites: Local Super Chef Ready to Conquer the Most Precious of Palates
He has been enthralling LA foodies for years, then he took his show on the road and charmed the rest of America via his television show Ludo Bites America, now Chef Ludo Lefebvre is tackling the tiniest of tastebuds via his new online series Ludo Baby Bites.
The intro episode dropped today, in which we get to know Ludo, his wife Krissy, and their freaking adorable twin babies, Luca and Reve. The premise of the series of recipes delivered via video is shared in the intro episode, in which the family heads to the Hollywood Farmers' Market to shop for ingredients. Krissy Lefebvre admits she hasn't always been tapped into the habit of sourcing farm fresh ingredients, but if she is feeding her kids, she's ready to make the effort and set an example—something most moms can likely relate to. The couple are also on a familiar learning curve of balancing work and parenthood, and finding out that babies can't just cut their teeth on any ol' food.
Though we don't get to see any food until next week's episode (Mac and Goat Cheese, what?!?) the Lefebvres promise to share recipes for family-friendly eats you can try at home to serve your own most vociferous critics: the kids. Don't worry, these aren't going to be full of foie gras donuts, mustard ice cream and chorizo foam; think simple, fresh, and good techniques behind good eats for budding baby tastebuds.
