MONDAY 9/5

Brunch, 9:30p The Park Restaurant. Like any good lazy holiday, Brunch is going strong. Paul Danke, Josh Fadem and Johnny Pemberton lead the way.

Harold Night, 9:30p UCB. The Great War and Bangarang! closing out Harold Night with what should be two great improv shows.


TUESDAY 9/6

Mohr Stories, 7:30p Hollywood Improv. Jay Mohr’s podcast tapes LIVE.

Holy Fuck, 9p Downtown Independent. Myq Kaplan, Paul Danke, Emily Maya Mills and more!


WEDNESDAY 9/7

Room 101 2nd Anniversary Show, 8p Flight Theatre @ The Complex. The best indie improv show in town is two years old, and they’re celebrating with a banger! Shows include Convoy, Bangarang! and The Smokes, with stand up by DC Pierson. All proceeds benefit UNICEF, and you can even bid to play with The Smokes.

Meltdown Show, 8:30p Nerdist Theatre @ Meltdown Comics. Goddamn, it’s a big one this week: Baron Vaughn, Rob Delaney, Hannibal Buress. MORE!


THURSDAY 9/8

Andrew Dice Clay, 8p Roxy Theatre. The Dice Man brings the schtick (and the jacket) to the Roxy for one night only.

Jeff Garlin in conversation with Larry David, 8p Largo. This show is ‘sold out’ but it’s absolutely worth your time to get down there and see if you can get a last minute ticket, scale a fence, peer in from a skylight…SOMETHING.


FRIDAY 9/9

The Jesse Miller Talk Show, 10:30p Hollywood Improv. It’s another strong show for Andre Hyland, with Chelsea Peretti stepping up.

Up Late, 10:30p ComedySportzLA. It’s another late night talk show, except they actually write this one as it’s happening. The second season of this show opens with Paul F. Tompkins and Superego superhero Matt Gourley.


SATURDAY 9/10

Hand Shucked, 8p Moving Arts Theater. Rob O’Reilly is up to his old tricks, booking and hosting a stand up show in Silverlake.

Cambridge Footlights, 8p iO West. Big-time British sketch group Cambridge Footlights take to iO West as part of their international tour.


SUNDAY 9/11

Tom Arnold, 7p Irvine Improv. Arnold is in the OC all weekend.

Hot Sauce, 9:30p UCB. Gil Ozeri, Ben Schwartz and Adam Pally are Hot Sauce. Let them do improv for you. You won’t regret it.
