As of today, August is here, so why not try to beat the upcoming heat with some indoor sports - like comedy. There are a ton of great shows that are guaranteed to keep you begging to stay in out of sun. Check it!

As always, email me if you'd like to get a show listed here in the future.

MONDAY 8/1

Pretty Bird Duo Tournament - Opening Round, 8p iO West. It’s a two-man tournament ‘till the end, hosted by iO’s own Pretty Bird.

Harold Night, 8p UCB. It’s never a bad time to check in with UCB’s house Harold teams. The 8pm hour has The Great War and Arts & Athletics.

TUESDAY 8/2

Neal Brennan / Michael Kosta, 8p Comedy & Magic Club. Brennan is most famous for co-writing Half Baked and co-creating the Dave Chappelle Show, while Kosta is a well-respected stand up in his own right.

Blam! Blam! Blam!, 9p RBar. Paul Danke, Ali Wong, Howard Kremer, Kyle Kinane and a whole bunch more awesome folks. Plus, you can feel all snooty when you get to give the password at the door.

Two Kids, One Hall, 8:30p Largo. Scott Thompson and Kevin McDonald bring a little bit of Kids In the Hall and a lot of amazing comedy and music.
