Conrad Murray's attorney's are asking Sony Pictures to release 100 hours of raw footage used for the Michael Jackson film "This Is It," but Sony is fighting the request, according to ABC Local.
The prosecution reportedly intends to show excerpts of the rehearsal film to demonstrate that Jackson was in good health. The defense believes, presumably, there is evidence in the raw footage to dispute those claims since Sony was contractually obligation with Jackson's estate to not include in the film anything that portrayed Jackson in "a negative light," according to CNN.
The judge has given Sony one week to "work out technical details with the defense for a way they can view the raw video without the risk of it leaking." Sony's lawyer noted that a the public release of the raw video could "hurt the studio's plans to use it in other productions, such as an anniversary edition of the documentary."
