A 3-year-old girl arriving in Los Angeles with her father has disappeared following a revised custody agreement, according to a Los Angeles Police Department news release. Elizabeth Day was expected to land at LAX with her father, Galen Michael Day, on June 10. The girl's mother, Jenna Johnston, said their luggage eventually showed up in baggage claim but they did not. Los Angeles police are asking for the public's help to locate the missing child.

After waiting hours at LAX, Johnston reportedly took the luggage and returned to her Los Angeles home. Galen, who would not take Johnston's calls, phoned a mutual friend the following day and said he and his daughter were "in a hotel somewhere in Los Angeles," but would not disclose the exact location.

The child, Elizabeth Day is a 3 year-old, female, Caucasian, with brown hair, brown eyes, 30 inches tall and weighs 45 pounds, thin with a dark complexion. Suspect Galen Michael Day is described as a 41 year-old, male, African American, with brown hair and brown eyes, 5’-10”, 165 pounds, medium build with a medium complexion. He is believed to be driving a 2011, red Ford Mustang, with a California license of 6LRN864.
