Banksy Confirms "Crayon Foreclosure" & 2 Other New Pieces

As we suspected yesterday, the crayon-inspired house that popped up at Washington Blvd. and Compton Ave. is indeed the work of Banksy. The British street artist has now claimed the "Crayon Foreclosure" and two other new works, "Caution Fun!" and "This Looks a Bit Like an Elephant," via his website.

Melrose and Fairfax have confirmed the trailer painted with "This Looks a Bit Like an Elephant" is located in Santa Monica: "If you're taking the 10 west it turns into the pch. It will be on the right side across from the first state beach parking lot." However, they have not confirmed the location of the "Caution Fun!" (or kite crossing) piece; some suggest Long Beach.

P.S. Yesterday we also took a look at some of the recent street art in Los Angeles that isn't by Banksy.
