Gubernatorial candidates Jerry Brown and Meg Whitman along with the man who holds the job they both want will take the stage at The Women's Conference in Long Beach this afternoon. It's not slated as a debate, more as a panel conversation, but with a week until election day, it's be surprising if there wasn't some sparring.

What also could be interesting is the dynamic Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger brings, according to the Sacramento Bee, which notes that he has yet to make an endorsement in the race and has been criticized via comparisons by both campaigns in ads.

The Panel, entitled "Who We Are, Where Are We Going," is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. It can be watched live on the conferences webcast page.
