Inspired by his best friend's daughter's fight with pediatric epilepsy, former star and producer of "American Gladiators," Dan "Nitro" Clark (LAist interview) has created the Gladiator Rock'n Run — the most insane one day event on the planet.

For this event, Clark's constructed a 3.15 mile course made up of 12 hellish obstacles, like a run through flames. Being held on December 4th at Hidden Valley Park in Irvine, the Gladiator Rock'n Run will also include a post-race party featuring live music, LA's top food trucks and beer. A portion of the proceeds from the event will raise money for the Epilepsy Foundation.
