Taste of Beverly Hills Day 3: "Secrets from the Kitchen and Cellar"
Day three of The Taste of Beverly Hills brought out more local restaurants and chefs, as well as representatives from spirits and wine makers, along with nationally prominent food celebs for an afternoon of eat and drink under the sun called "Secrets from the Kitchen and Cellar."
Less crowded and much warmer than the kickoff "90210" opening night event, today was about enjoying great food and great wine. We strolled the food tents and tasted bites from some of our favorite spots like The Water Grill, Bastide, Jitlada, District, Rustic Canyon, FIG, and more, and enjoyed a quick demo on healthy cooking from Chef Art Smith. To cool off, after grabbing a cup of Carmela ice cream from the Cooking Channel's Ice Cream Truck, we stepped inside the Beverly Hilton's Le Chateau to take in a rousing Pinot Noir Superstars seminar featuring California and Oregon wineries, moderated by New York's Belinda Chang (Modern) and a rapping wine captain.
