MONDAY 6/21

Neutrino Video Projects, 8p iO West. This highly successful show, originally from NYC, the Neutrino Projects bring long-form, character-based improv to the silver screen - live. It’s shot, edited, mixed and scored in real time, presenting the audience with a finished product in no time flat.

Melgard Mondays, 8:30p Melgard Public House. Eric Andre, Brent Weinbach, and others come out for a no-cover night of comedy on Melrose.

TUESDAY 6/22

The Funeral Crasher, 3p ComedySportz. It’s a shame this thing is during the middle of the day. Stacy Mayer’s one woman show (with help from Apple Sister Kimmy Gatewood and The State’s Kevin Allison) about life, death, and the parties that surround them should be awesome.

Delicious Moments, 8p Comedy Central Stage. Brian Shortall and Ithamar Enriquez bring their own brand of crazy sketch comedy to the Comedy Central Stage.

WEDNESDAY 6/23

Creepiosity, 8p Largo. David Bickel uses his new book ‘Creepiosity’ to lure unsuspecting Kevin Pollack, Nick Kroll and others in a dimly lit basement for a night of all that is unintentionally creepy.

Comedy Juice, 10p Hollywood Improv. Rob Little, Neal Brennan, Bryan Callen, Maz Jobrani and others are out on Melrose doing this great weekly stand up showcase show.

THURSDAY 6/24

Sit N’ Spin, 8p Comedy Central Stage. Another great line up of writers telling true stories, all backed by a band and a lot of laughs. FREE!

Bob Ducca-Prov, 11p UCB. Goddamn, this looks crazy / amazing. Seth Morris is Bob Ducca, a divorced father who has brought his talents to the UCB stage to improvise with audience members for a guaranteed nervous breakdown threatens the very fiber of his being.

FRIDAY 6/25

Writers Bloc, 7:30p Writers Guild Theatre. Sarah Silverman stops by to discuss her new book, as well as being a hilarious comic in general.

Dom Irrera, 8p Comedy & Magic Club. Dom is down in the South Bay for one night only.

SATURDAY 6/26

The Periodicals, 8p Bang Studio. All-female long-form improv with a bent towards current events. Plus their flyer has a picture of Josie & The Pussycats. Awesome.

Joe Rogan, 9p Irvine Improv. Joe is intense, crazy, and really funny. I used to joke about beating him up in college, but he would kill me.

SUNDAY 6/27

Dad-Prov!, 6p UCB. John Ross Bowie, Brian Huskey, Mike Leffingwell, Johhny Meeks, and John Reynolds are better than your dad, and to prove it they’re going to light the world on fire with this dad-centric improv show.

Eat, Pray, Laugh!, 8:30p Theatre Asylum. As part of the LA Fringe Festival, Alicia Dattner chronicles her three-month solo adventure throughout India.
