'The Sound of Young America' Is Just That Into Art Share

Jesse Thorn and his national public radio program, The Sound of Young America, are back from Sundance. This Thursday at 8 p.m., Thorn and a host of his stand-up friends present Laugh Night: A Benefit for Art Share Los Angeles.

Talent includes: Greg Behrendt ("He's Just Not That Into You,") Donald Glover ("Troy" from NBC's Community,) Karen Kilgariff, James Adomian, Holly Mills, and Nick Adams.

All proceeds benefit Art Share LA, which provides arts instruction to Los Angeles student for free. If you feel like you've pledged enough of your paycheck to Haiti, this is the show for you. Tickets are $8, and $6 if you're a downtown resident. (I'm not sure how they prove that. Maybe they'll ask you a question about whether you think Skid Row is just a band.)
