Where to Touch Down for the Super Bowl

In case you haven't heard, this weekend is Super Bowl Sunday. If you are looking for big crowds, big drink specials and even bigger TVs, check out our picks for a few parties around town.

Call Rush Street in Culver City to make reservations for Sunday and you are guaranteed a comfortable seat to watch the game and order up their gigantic burgers. The restaurant/bar is comprised of two stories with two bars and two patio decks. They will be offering a special Super Bowl menu & drink specials all day including $4 drafts. After the game there is a beer pong tournament and Karaoke.

Hudson House in Redondo Beach will be serving a special discounted Super Bowl menu and $3 Budweisers while the game plays on a 50-inch flat screen TV. Menu options unclude Garlic Fries and Hawaiian Sliders. Their regular menu will be offered starting at 5pm.

BottleRock Both the Culver City and Downtown wine pubs offers a refreshing menu of charcuterie and cheese, as well as an enormous selection of wines by the glass. It may not be beer and chili, but be assured, they do have big screens.

The Shack in Playa del Rey is known for the furvor of the fans and the burgers. Party close to the beach -- the sun is supposed to be back for Sunday.

If you can handle the Galleria (Your girlfriend/boyfriend can shop while you watch the game! Perfect!) try Townhouse Kitchen & Bar in Sherman Oaks. The West coast outpost of this Chicago favorite boasts 14 HD flat screen TVs in the mega 7,000-square-foot restaurant. Their Happy Hour menu will run from 2 p.m. - close and select draft beers are $4. Nibbles include Asian BBQ Ribs and Chicken Samosas.

Ye Olde King's Head gives you a chance to watch the game with a properly poured Black and Tan in your hand and some hot, hearty grub.

If you want to be all ritzy and stuff, Capitol City Sports Grille is "a premiere, state-of-the-art restaurant, lounge and multi-media sports viewing facility in the hear of Hollywood." The complex includes six separate dining and sports viewing areas including a front patio an a stand-alone English pub.

Hollywood Billiards comes equipped with 3 projection screens and fifty hegh-definition TVs. Their menu offers all of the required bar food: Nachos, hot wings, jalapeno poppers, they've got it all. Or check out Yai #1 Thai food across the street!

And if you want to go really crazy, there's always Big Wangs and ESPN Zone, but you are on your own there.

If you are in charge of the party and dont want to be stuck in the kitchen, there are a few restaurants offering take-out specials.

Little Dom’s Deli in Los Feliz, unsurprisingly next door to Little Dom's, is Super-sizing their gourmet sandwiches to serve three to six people each. Sandwiches include Sicilian Tuna on Baguette ($27.95) Meatball & Provolone ($46.95) and Prosciutto & Mozzarella on Baguette ($28.95). You may also choose from a variety of salads and vegetables to serves 6 to 8 people because nothing says SuperBowl like brussel sprouts! Finish off the meal with Little Dom’s Cocoa Cupcakes. The last orders will be taken today before 6:00 p.m. so call fast!

Zeke’s Smokehouse in West Hollywood and Montrose is cooking up a feast that includes a Zeke’s chipotle quesadilla with Texas beef brisket, choice of ribs, BBQ chicken or Zeke’s hot wings, sliced hot link, pulled pork, ham or Texas beef brisket, plus Zeke’s sides and four pieces of Texas toast ($2.95 extra for mac n’ cheese) for $52.95 + tax . If you don't get there Sunday, they will be offering this special for the duration of the football season.
