Your Map to Living a Very '90210' Life

Before you get too excited, let's get a couple of things right out in the open. First, while the "new" 90210 will indeed be back this fall on the CW, your weekly "Morning After Report" by yours truly will not, so you'll have to look elsewhere for the same level of snark, devotion, and attention to detail we gave you in the first season. That said, if you have no idea what I'm talking about, first plan your tomorrow around getting your hands on the complete first season of 90210 on DVD, watch all the episodes, review the LAist archives, and congratulate yourself mightily for your fortitude.

In honor of the DVD set's release we've put together something for all the fan(atic)s out there: A map of all the locations used last season on the show. As in locations real and imaginary. Because if there was any show on the air last season that could pull off anachronistic bowling, movie-in-cemetery-screening, and dining out, along with escaping several California state laws regarding minors, traffic violations, and education, then, well, it's 90210. Learn why the front of West Bev High looks so very, very, very different than the back, where to go for imaginary Egyptian food, which character actually lives in Beverly Hills proper, the only reason a West Bev kid would go to Simi Valley, where to have a street race with an underage bartender, what Westwood hotel offers views of the Capitol Records building in Hollywood, and the best places for breakdowns and breakups.

90210 Season 1 arrives tomorrow on DVD, and includes some fun bonus features like set tours with cast members and selected episode commentary. Season 2 returns this fall to the CW.
