Over 50,000 Could Attend Sunset Junction Free Under Proposal

As mentioned yesterday, the Silver Lake Neighborhood Council has a motion before them tonight about making the Sunset Junction Street Festival free for all those who live in the three surrounding zip codes. LAist inquired with the post office on how many deliveries are made in the zips and here's what they told us:

Valley Glen got a boost in neighborhood pride last week when the US Postal Service finalized the official recognition of the neighborhood by designating all or part of 91401 (Van Nuys), 91405 (Van Nuys) and 91606 (North Hollywood) to be Valley Glen, according to Mark Kellam's neighborhood blog at the Daily News.

Celebrity, politician, or regular joe, foreclosures can happen to anyone. It happened to U.S. Representaive Laura Richardson in Sacramento and now it's happening to "heeeeeeeere's Johnny" Ed McMahon at his Studio City home.
