Seven Questions: Daniel Tosh, Comedian/Host of Comedy Central's 'Tosh.0'

Daniel Tosh, who told us he'd prefer the title of "The Most Famous Man in Show Business Who Doesn't Have to Work" over "The Hardest Working Man in Show Business," took some time out from his busy schedule to talk to LAist about his similarity to Jesus, rubber-band ball statistics, his pitch for Michael Richards, the Internet's impact on comedy and telling Kobe Bryant jokes in front of Jerry Buss.

LACMA Wants You to Get Wiki With It

The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) is part of 15 museums and cultural institutions nation-wide contributing to the Wikipedia Loves Art program, which kicked off yesterday and runs all February long. Think of it as an art scavenger hunt," explains LACMA's Unframed blog.

The bloggers who helped bring the taco truck ban in unincorporated areas of Los Angeles to national headlines have done some sleuthing with a particular commenter's IP address (it's like a digital fingerprint) who left comments bashing the cause to save the savory street food. Conservatives are not happy with Wikipedia. Apparently they believe the liberal bias in the media extends to media created by... uh... everyone? So in November 2006 they created Conservapedia, an online encyclopedia with "educational, clean, and concise entries." This is how it defines Hollywood: "a neighborhood located in the city of Los Angeles, California. As a lexical entry, it refers to the movie studios once located in the district, and more generally, to the motion picture business. It is a synonym encompassing all the definitions of 'glamour', 'beauty', 'fame', 'sex', and 'power' in a shallow way."
