First we had Whitey Bulger, and now it looks like another fugitive from Boston may be on the lam here in Los Angeles. CBS Los Angeles reports that John Joseph Hartin, 42, has been on the run ever since being charged in 1993 with the statutory rape of two young boys in the Boston area. At the time, he worked as a security guard and weighed about 200 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Privacy, shmivacy -- the Boston Globe has outed the woman who turned in Whitey Bulger and his longtime partner, Catherine Greig. Her name is Anna Bjornsdottir, and she's a former actress and Miss Iceland who also lived in the Princess Eugenia apartment complex in Santa Monica, where Bulger and Grieg shared a unit for 15 years.

In today's 15 minutes of fame news, comes a newly re-circulating story of a man named Keith Messina who is miffed the FBI didn't do anything about his hot tip that he saw Boston mobster James "Whitey" Bulger in Santa Monica in 2008. Now, of course, Messina wants a cut of the $2 million reward cash.

One of the FBI's 10 Most Wanted fugitives has been alive and living in a Santa Monica apartment. Now James J. "Whitey" Bulger, 81, and his ladyfriend, Catherine Greig, 60, have been arrested. A recent publicity campaign run in Boston produced a tip which led agents to Santa Monica where they located both Bulger and Greig at a residence Wednesday evening.
