Teen Attempts Glendale Bank Robbery, Punks Out

A teenager believed to be about 15-years-old described as a black male, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a slim build, short hair, clean shaven, and wearing a red polo shirt, attempted to rob a Wells Fargo in the 500 block of North Brand Boulevard around 10:15 a.m. on Friday. According to Glendale police the suspect, "approached a teller and passed a demand note, but then apparently got scared and took off," reports KTLA. No weapons were seen by witnesses, no money was taken, and there were no reported injuries. The suspect fled on foot heading west on California Avenue. more ›
