Angels fans can be quite snooty. They find Dodger Stadium to be dirty and violent. Thanks to the Gwendolyn Driscoll of the Orange County Register, I can now refute one of those claims. In the last 2 1/2 years Orange County officials found 118 vermin violations at stadium kiosks and restaurants. Of those reports, 33 represent "major" violdations, in which "rodent activity" was observed by health inspectors in a "critical area" of 18 stadium......

While vermin living in the kitchen of a restaurant might make for an entertaining animated Disney flick, you wouldn’t be too amused if you found out that furry creatures were running wild in the kitchen of your favorite establishments. Unfortunately, however, they are. A list of these kitchens can be found on Los Angeles Department of Public Health website, which lists all establishments recently shut down for reasons ranging from "vermin infestation" to "gross contamination......

One of LAist's favorite places to grab a turkey sandwich (the Tommy with Avocado) has closed its doors for awhile to clean up a little problem. Vermin infestation? EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! Abbot's Habit is a classic and true local establishment. We support them all the way. And we like that Venice is funky. We just don't want our food to be funky, too.......
