Weekend Movie Guide 03/11: Kill The Irishman & Battle The Aliens

St. Patrick's Day isn't until next week, but get the festivities off to an explosive start with Kill The Irishman! The film stars Ray Stevenson as Danny Greene, who awakens the wrath of the Walken. Cleveland rocks with explosions, bullets & mob assassins, but this Irishman's got a hell of a clover. All it does is bring out the feckin' fight! The Punisher director Jonathan Hensleigh lenses the crime actioner, which also stars Vinnie D'Onofrio & "Biggie Valls" Kilmer as Greene's unlikely allies. more ›

Weekend Movie Guide: Blech!

I've always thought that MacGruber worked perfectly as a one-minute interstitial, but I can't imagine how you pull a whole movie out of it. Still, reviews have been pretty decent so maybe it works. Didn't the last Shrek really answer all of the questions posed by the other Shreks? Is there any reason to see Shrek Forever After other than to distract your bratty kids for a few hours. But we urge you to disregard her checkered past and take a good, long look at her story in the Los Angeles Independent. We know you’ll thank us…(thought-provoking excerpt below) more ›
