In a big "oops, that was the gas pedal" moment, a Silver Lake Teen accidently ran over his dad at their home this morning. The 4:45 a.m. incident took place at the 700 block of North Occidental Avenue, which is near Sunset and Silver Lake Boulevards. The father was freed from under the vehicle and taken to the hospital in stable condition. The LAPD said there was no evidence of drinking.
