On suspicion of rape, Wikileaks' Julian Assange is arrested as the U.S. State Department announces it will host UNESCO's World Press Freedom Day event in 2011, notes Gizmodo. "That something as relatively incidental to international security as a sex crime has been pursued by the likes of Interpol...does little to dispel the idea that perhaps Assange is getting special attention because of his day job." A week after calling Assange a "high-tech terrorist" the government annouces an, "enduring commitment to support and expand press freedom and the free flow of information in this digital age."

Vote for the New 7 Wonders of the World
Have you ever sat around and tried to name the 7 Wonders of the World? What about figuring out if you've been to any of them?
