School's T-Shirt Slogan Was Actually Sex Chat Line Number

Sounds like a tame enough idea: Print up some t-shirts with the school mascot running and make a slogan out of one of those 800 numbers that uses words instead of digits. Only one of the parents from Linda Vista Elementary School in Yorba Linda decided to give the presumably made-up number a whirl and found that number was something else entirely, according to the Pasadena Star-News...

If you were planning to head over to one of the local Obama offices to purchase some gear such as buttons, T-shirts and stickers before partying it up in style tonight or to commemorate what could be a historic moment for America, they are all sold out.... Well, if you want one of those big foam hands with a peace sign, then you can get that. But not to fear, they say after 3:30 p.m., Obama gear should be restocked for any and all celebrations tonight. Represent!

While walking through Los Feliz yesterday we spotted these hot tshirts at Y-Que on Vermont. Not only do you have your choice of the Free the Bitch or Keep the Bitch tees (depending on which side of the law you're currently on), but apparently there's now a Free the Bitch Again shirts. Y-Que, of course, being the store that has the sweet-ass MacArthur Park tshirts that we love so. But back to Paris... yesterday...

While this is hardly the first time a bare midriff and cheap dye-job have swayed an otherwise discerning focus, we at LAist would like to commend this cameraperson for their pro-obscenity stance and their “fair & balanced” coverage of today's Eagles/Saints game.
