A waterspout was spotted off Seal Beach and two tornado warnings were issued as severe storm cells rolled in off the Pacific this afternoon. At 12:45 p.m. a tornado warning was issued for Orange County until 1:30 p.m. (extended to 2 p.m.) as the National Weather Service reported a storm cell heading northeast toward the Newport / Huntington Beach coast. more ›

With not much information to go off of right now, CBS News 2 is reporting poltergeists severe weather down south:Rotating storm clouds have been spotted in a thunderstorm near Lake Elsinore, which could lead to a tornado. A Severe Thunderstorm Warning was issued for San Diego County. We love when Las Buxoticas and Los Luchadores come together at the Mayan Theater and entertain the eclectic masses. Having become so popular in its 3 year history, Lucha Va Voom added another show to their usual downtown Halloween massacre and LAist was there drunk off of tequila shots and vodka laced drinks poured with a heavy hand. We arrived just as the lovely ring managers and burlesque dancers drove up in their classic low riders. Outside of those ladies and their grand entrance which let us know they were part of the show, it was difficult to figure out who was in the act and who was merely an excited and obsessive fan dressed for the occasions. After buying our own Lucha masks, we settled in to enjoy the show. more ›
