Tonight NY-based indie rockers the Walkmen will be performing at the Henry Fonda Music Box with Baltimore's lugubrious duo Beach House. LA's own indie pop duo Castledoor (LAist Review, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6) is playing at the Echoplex for this week's edition of Check One, Twosday, which is still being sponsored by the now-defunct radio station Indie 103.1. Sean Carlson (of the Fuck Yeah Fest) is throwing a psych rock frenzy at the Smell, including performances by Long Beach-based Crystal Antlers and Ancestors. And, lastly, the one-woman army, otherwise known as Theresa Andersson (LAist Interview, Review), will be gracing the Hotel Café. But we strongly suggest checking into Spaceland, where Hawaiian-born singer-songwriter Sara Lov will be stopping through for the penultimate date of her month-long residency.
