On a day that can only be called lackluster, the Dodgers came to Milwaukee aboard a red eye flight that kept them sleepless and restless for the next day's game. On Sunday afternoon the Dodgers were roughed up by the Colorado Rockies by a score of 12 to 5. The loss had ended a 7-game winning streak for the Blue Crew. Then, they boarded an evening flight that landed them in Wisconsin at midnight for an afternoon game less than 13 hours away. Compounding the team's tired state the Dodgers headed to a hotel that was hosting the Armenian Youth Federation Convention. Frolicking kids enjoying their youthful exuberance welcomed the team early Monday morning. Needless to say, the remnants of empty bottles and weary youths in the hotel lobby later that morning can tell you all about the potential state of mind of the team as the game started promptly at 1:00 PM.
