Tonight Fullerton-based punk rock outfit Social Distortion (LAist Review) will be performing to a sold-out crowd at the Hollywood Palladium. Legendary Kansas City-bred indie rock maestros the Get Up Kids are poised to take on the Troubadour with New Jersey's own indie rock quintet Steel Train some seven years after the release of their debut album, in anticipation of their fifth studio full-length—2011's There Are Rules. But we strongly suggest heading over to the Satellite to catch Brooklyn-based electro pop act the Blow.

Tonight English electronic duo Pet Shop Boys will be headlining the Greek Theatre. Legendary Kansas City-bred indie rock maestros the Get Up Kids are poised to take on the Avalon. London-based, female-fronted indie rockers the Noisettes will be performing an in-store at Amoeba Music in Hollywood. But we strongly suggest heading over to the Henry Fonda Music Box to catch the second night of the three-day French music festival known as Ooh La La. LAist favorites, French/Finnish indie pop duo the Dø are slated to take the stage.
