Tonight In Rock: Peaches, Holy Fuck, Fool's Gold, Signal Hill

Tonight Toronto-based electronica musician Peaches will be taking on a two-night stint at the Henry Fonda Music Box. And speaking of Toronto, electronica band Holy Fuck are poised to rock the Troubadour with LAist favorites Crocodiles (LAist Interview) in tow. And, lastly, LA-based afro-centric indie pop act Fool's Gold will be performing at 3 Clubs with Abe Vigoda and Thee Makeout Party in tow. But we strongly suggest heading over to the hole-and-corner Pehrspace to catch local experimental instrumental outfit Signal Hill (LAist Review), who will be ringing in their debut full-length More After We're Gone. LA-based rockers Beware of Safety are slated to kick things off. And please, for the love of Pehrspace, keep the noise to a minimum!

Congratulations to our Keane winner Stephanie. She will be seeing Keane tonight at the Gibson, not the Greek, the Gibson. After the fire a few concerts had to be moved from the Greek to the Gibson, so if you have tickets to the show tonight head to Universal Studios, not the smoldering hills of Los Feliz. We're also being told not to miss Anjani @ Hotel Cafe tonight where she will be being presented...

Fri 5/26 - Elefant / Voxtrot / Silversun Pickups @ the Wiltern ($20) – Elefant's new album, The Black Magic Show, is out on Hollywood Records. They've got a stylish front man with lots of swagger and they should appeal to fans of the Killers and She Wants Revenge. Silversun Pickups are getting ready to release their debut full-length, Carnavas, on Dangerbird Records on July 11th. The people who’ve heard it say it’s really good and that they’ve outdone their EP. Austin’s Voxtrot are definitely a band to keep your eye on. Their recent EP is full of infectious, early 80s, Smiths-style rock. They just toured the country with local heartthrobs, Irving. Download Voxtrot’s “Mothers, Sisters, Daughters and Wives
