In an unexpected change of heart and funding at Metro, this past week has shown us public transportation can get an edge in LA. After announcing the LAX Green Line extension and the promised completion of the Subway to the Sea by 2011, Metro will announce next Friday night the Red Line Owl Service. Youth Brigade, the headliners this Friday are joined by Pistol Grip, The Ignorant and Broke Till Thursday. The awesomeness goes down at The Airliner in Downtown Los Angeles. All ages, doors open at 7:30pm.

Thankfully, all hope has not been lost. I was surprisingly satisfied upon entering The Burgundy Room, which literally is, a burgundy room, located on Cahuenga around all the other Hollywood "hotspots".
