No offense to the local boys, but we are far more excited to check out the Arcade Fire on Saturday night of Coachella than the Chili Peppers. Which is why we're crossing our fingers that Win Butler, the lead singer and genius behind the Arcade Fire will have successful sinus surgery. The Mighty Mos Def and Talib Kweli closed the main stage (to a much smaller crowd than Nine Inch Nails which, we think, had to do with Goldenvoice not naming Mos and Talib in the adverts or the program) with an energetic set spanning their combined efforts as Black Star and their more recognizable solo faire.
