It may be months late, but Little Radio's weekly Summer Camp series finally returns on Sunday, August 16th, with performances by The Living Things, Har Mar Superstar, and Restavrant as well as DJ sets by Ana Calderon, Daisy O'Dell, and Clifton Weaver. Summer Camp runs every Sunday thereafter until September 20th. "That's three Sundays in August, then 3 more in September," according to Little Radio. "Let's just call it September Camp. New location, new pool, new turf. Same water slide and shennanigans!"

                                   

Last Sunday, Little Radio's Summer Camp series Downtown continued with performances by local bands Matt Ellis (MySpace), Hypernova (MySpace), Tenlons Fort (MySpace), and Castledoor (MySpace), with The Karabal Nightlife (MySpace) as well as Ladies and Gents (MySpace) among those performing earlier in the day during Open Mic.

Last Saturday, the Art and Mayhem Gallery (MySpace) held its Summer Camp (MySpace) show, featuring artwork by Arty, Billie Stone, Chris Cleary, Christopher "Ssippi," Chris Pastras, Dix Denney, Homey Chris, Jason Mason, Jennifer Lee, Julia Tcharfas, Kevin "AssJoker" Rutmanis, Marcella, Michael Hsiung, Rachel Pitler, and Robert Meinhardt, as well as performances by local bands Baseck (MySpace), Electrocute (MySpace), The Lady Tigra (MySpace), Jer Ber Jones (MySpace), and We Are The World (MySpace). There were also DIY crafts and typical camp activities in-between the musical sets such as tug-of-war, egg toss, and the three-legged race.

                            

Last Saturday, Little Radio (MySpace) resumed its weekly Summer Camp (MySpace) series Downtown with performances by local bands Crystal Antlers (MySpace), Imaad Wasif (MySpace), and The Pity Party (MySpace).

Summer is officially less than three weeks away but Little Radio (a web station and CD manufacturer) has already started its second annual Summer Camp (June 3rd- August10th) where every Sunday of the season Bands, Beer, and Booze along with food provided by Hot Knives will be the main event.

And USC and EA Games know it. Game Girl Advance points us to USC's Summer Seminar series where young girls are being offered scholarships to attend their Interactive Entertainment Summer Camp. Video games aren't the only things girls like. 'SC has programs for the young Y-chromosomed scientist in your house as well.
