Stripper at High School Reunion Prank Gaining Popularity

A few years ago, a Palos Verdes Peninsula High alumnae was less than enthused about showing up to her 10-year reunion. Luckily, the comedic side of her thought up a little prank in which she would send a doppelgänger from Jumbo's Clown Room to play the role of the former drama geek, Andrea Wachner. It was all caught on film for a 40-minute documentary and now she's gaining some national attention, appearing on Good Morning America, Inside Edition and CNN, among others, says the Daily Breeze. The 6-minute teaser (you can watch it below), is doing pretty well on YouTube and now Wachner is getting asked about books, reality TV and making a feature length film.

When it comes to crotch identification, no one works harder than LAist. Last week one of our favorite LA blogs, Defamer, ran the underwear photo above (and to the right), accompanied with a story about a movie and blah blah blah. But the mystery remained: Who's Crotch is That?" Happily, our tireless hours of up-close interviews and in-your-face journalism have not been for naught. Thanks to an amazingly reliable source close to the project,...

Last week an Orange County jury saved a former cop from a 10 year prison sentence when they said that although David Alex Park's semen was found on the sweater of a woman he pulled over soon after leaving her job at a gentleman's club, that the sex was consensual, because, as the defense attorney told the jury, "she got what she wanted, she’s an overtly sexual person." According to reports by the LA...

We never thought it would come to this, but it seems we have a genuine case of Halloween costume ennui. It just seems so wrong. Halloween is the gayest, sluttiest holiday of all, and here we are in one of the gayest, sluttiest cities in America, and we just can't... get it up to think of a good Halloween costume this year. We try to probe our impacted pop culture memories of the recent...

Not that Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez need any free publicity, but you gotta love the 1970s-style color palette and cheeseball film effects of the Grind House trailer -- complete with Josh Brolin looking like a young Jeff Bridges, Danny Trejo as the badass knife-sharpening Machete, Tom Savini as a shotgun-wielding sheriff's deputy and Rose McGowan as an amputee stripper with a machine gun for a shin....
