One Los Angeles woman calling herself a psychic is being accused of conducting some very shady business (even for a psychic) -- according to the AP, Jackeline Lopez of Palmdale allegedly frightened a 12-year-old girl into thinking a curse had been placed on her, and that she needed to bring Lopez $10,000 worth of jewelry to have it lifted.

Teenage Girl Steals Vehicle with Two-Month-Old Child Inside
The LAPD this morning was looking for a teenaged girl who allegedly stole a car this morning with an infant inside. The incident happened around 8:30 a.m. when two-month-old child's grandfather stopped to pick up a newspaper at a newsstand, leaving the red 2000 Ford Expedition running and the child inside. As he returned, an apparent 16-year-old girl wearing a high school uniform jumped in and drove away, according to Police.
Andy Warhol Paintings Stolen, $1 Million Reward Announced
A well known series of portraits by Andy Warhol was stolen sometime last week, the LAPD said today. Sometime between September 2nd and 3rd, the multi-million-dollar Athlete Series was stolen from the home of Richard L. Weisman, who commissioned Warhol for the series and lives on a street off Beverly Glen Boulevard in the hills.
Paintings Stolen from La Luz de Jesus
According to Lee Joseph, publicist for La Luz de Jesus art gallery in the back of Wacko on Sunset, two paintings were stolen from the gallery today. The works by Lauren Gardiner are worth $1750 total and were already sold to patrons.
