Tortoise on Abbot Kinney hosts an OK pop-up shop to benefit Japan relief. OK—the Eastside design/lifestyle shop—presents its artists and vendors who’ve donated goods for this fundraiser. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to KAP (Kesen'numa Aid Project), a nonprofit organization providing direct aid to the school district in Kesen'numa, Miyagi prefecture. The opening event at Tortoise takes place tonight from 5-9 pm. Continues through May 8.
Oh My User! The TRON Shop Pops Up At Royal/T
We interrupt this internet to bring you the most exciting nerdling-news of the day: TheTRON: Legacy Pop-Up Shop is now open at Royal/T in Culver City. In anticipation of the Disney film opening in theaters Dec. 18, find high-end, limited-edition TRON: Legacy couture and a variety of rotating merchandise (check back weekly for new additions). Royal/T is also tossing out a TRON-tastic menu, including a Reco burger, Lightcycle salad, and Identity Disc cake. Open though December 23, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., extended hours until 10 p.m. on Wednesdays.

Jack White to Open Pop-Up Record Store in Downtown
In promotion of his latest album, Jack White is opening a temporary record store on Main Street in downtown Los Angeles tomorrow through Friday. Third Man Records and Novelties, which last popped up in New York City (and has a permanent space in Nashville), will feature all things Jack White from the White Stripes, Raconteurs and The Dead Weather, which just released the album, Horehound.
