Baltimore Orioles defeat LA Angels 5-4. For the first time since 2003 the Angels were swept by the Baltimore Orioles. Angels’ starter Dan Haren was pitching a shutout until the sixth inning when he gave up a leadoff homer to Nick Markakis. The Orioles would score once more in the sixth on Felix Pie’s single and twice in the seventh. The Angels woke up in the eighth to tie the game at 4-4, but Cesar Izturis walked off with a single that brought in Julio Lugo for the winning run. The Lakers traded forward Vladimir Radmonovic to the Charlotte Bobcats for forward Adam Morrison and guard Shannon Brown. After having an outstanding college career at Gonzaga, Morrison is averaging 4.5 points and 1.6 rebounds in 15.2 minutes this season.
