A 50-year-old Los Angeles County Department of Health inspector has been charged with one misdemeanor count of sexual battery against the female owner of a Pomona donut shop. Magdy Tawadros allegedly groped the business owner in the back room of her shop during a routine health inspection visit on March 24th; the woman claims he "used his position to intimidate her and tried repeatedly to hug her" during the encounter, which was captured on video. Two teenaged USC students who were given a ride home last Saturday morning on what they thought was an official campus bus ended up in a nightmare. The two unidentified victims were walking on the 3100 block of Figueroa Boulevard around 3:30 a.m. when 21-year-old Daniel Charles Elliot allegedly offered them a ride home. more ›

The LAPD has released images of this man who they say sexually assaulted one 13-year-old and another teenager earlier this month.
