But unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be happening: another teacher has been arrested on charges of lewd acts against children, this time at Telfair Elementary School in Pacoima.

A second of four suspects has been arrested in connection with the case of sexual assaults of physically and mentally disabled women that was first brought to the attention of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department in March when an anonymous tipster delivered a DVD containing over 100 hours of recorded rape sequences.

An anonymous tipster delivered a disturbing DVD to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department which contains "over 100 hours of video depicting a sequence of sexual assaults on women, all of whom appear to be disabled," reports the Daily News. At least 10 severely handicapped women are shown in the footage, which was copied to the disc from a computer hard drive.
Nine Years in Prison for "Sex Tourism" with 14-year-old
After serving all or part of multiple prison sentences in other countries for sexual misconduct convictions and being extradited back to the U.S., Michael James Dodd, 61, was sentenced in Los Angeles yesterday to nine years in prison for traveling to Cambodia to have sex with a 14-year-old girl, according to LA Now. Dodd had a "financial relationship" with the girl's family and gave them food and $200 a month while conducting a sexual relationship with their daughter for five months. U.S. District Judge John Walter called Dodd a "cunning, clever and manipulative predator." Walter also said it is "one of the most disgusting cases that has ever come before this court."
Rumor or Not? L.A. Kings Asst. Coach Arrested in D.C.
The assistant coach for the Los Angeles Kings was arrested last night in Washington D.C. for sexual abuse -- or at least that's the news floating around Twitter and what ABC7 is reporting. But the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington D.C. cannot confirm if it is that Mark Hardy. "That's a pretty ubiquitous name," Officer Eric Frost told LAist over the phone. He said someone named Mark Hardy has been arrested, but has not confirmed it is the one from the LA Kings. ABC7 says Hardy was arrested overnight at the Mayflower Hotel after a complaint "from a woman in her 20s who claimed to be a relative of Hardy's." Hardy played for the team on and off twice since 1979. He became an assistant coach in 2008.
