Mr. Brainwash (aka MBW) is an “eccentric French filmmaker” whose first exhibit “Life is Beautiful” is showing at the old CBS studios. The show will feature more than 300 paintings, sculptures and prints alongside an installation made from 100,000 shoes and a life-size re-creation of Edward Hopper’s Nighthawks.

Happy Passover! I may have been raised Catholic, but thanks to my "Jewish Mother" Regina Barton, I can still cook a decent seder. My mother still teases me about my slurred summary of my first Passover, "You say a prayer, you drink some wine. You say a prayer, you drink some wine. You say a prayer, you drink some wine. I'm going to bed." I was twelve.

"Why is this night different from all other nights?" you might ask. Well, it's the first night of Passover, and even folks who will be sitting down to a seder somewhere in the Southland tonight will also be asking the same thing, because it's one of four questions that are posed in the traditional pre-dinner ceremony.
