Clippers 97, Suns 90 - LA picked up their second win in the past 12 games and snapped a 4 game losing streak on the back of Sam Cassell, who scored 32 ... In their previous three meetings, Phoenix won by an average of 15 ... The Clippers are the lowest-scoring team in the NBA (92.6 points per game) while the Suns are the highest (110.3 ppg). Ducks 4, Stars 2 - Scott Niedermayer notched......

Suns 108, Clippers 88 - After getting pushed around by Laker's big man Andrew Bynum, Phoenix's Amare Stoudemire took his frustrations out on Clippers center Chris Kaman. Stoudemire had 30 points and 15 rebounds while limiting Kaman to just 9 points. Now lets all pause for a moment and appreciate that this is a picture of Clipper guard Dan Dickau doing, apparently, what he was born to do. Ducks 2, Oilers 1 - Doug Weight......

Ducks 2, Avalanche 1, OT - Even in a loss, Colorado's Peter Budaj proved why the goalie is the most important player in hockey. He made 36 saves to keep the Avs in the game, while his teammates managed just three shots in the third period and none in overtime. The final shots-on-goal margin was 38-12, so the scoreboard could have been a lot worse for Colorado. Anaheim showed a major improvement over their 16......

Lakers 103, Bulls 91 - Los Angeles spread the scoring around to down Chicago. Sasha Vujacic scored 19, Kobe Bryant had 18, and Lamar Odom had 17 (plus 16 rebounds). Raptors 80, Clippers 77 - As if the Clip Show wasn't missing enough performers, Cuttino Mobley was out sick. Both teams shot under 40% from the field. UCLA 77, Western Illinois 52 - In a breeze of a game, K-Love was 5-of-5 for 16 points.......

Lakers 113, Clippers 92 - Kobe Bryant, again playing through pain (this time it was a pulled groin), sunk 32 points to lead the Lakers to victory. The Clippers also had players dinged up, and a host of them (including Elton Brand) never made it onto the court. Chris Kaman won the battle of the big men statisticly with 18 points and 16 rebounds, but young Andew Bynum (14 points, 9 rebounds, 6 blocks) performed......

Kings 8, Sabres 2 - Halfway through, it looked suspiciously like an SEC football score. Los Angeles was up 7-0 midway through the second period and coasted the rest of the way, making life easy on goalie Jonathan Quick. Due to injuries, Quick was making his first appearance in the NHL. For those keeping score at home, the Kings have tried more goalies this season than they had goals against the Sabres. Only in LA......

Lakers 111, Nuggets 107 - Allen Iverson lit up the scoreboard with 51 points but three Lakers responded with big nights of their own. Kobe Bryant scored 25, Vladimir Radmanovic added 21, and Derek Fisher had 20. Despite his big night, the Lakers only allowed Iverson one layup in the fourth quarter. Sonics 95, Clippers 88 - Seven is unlucky for the Clipper -- it's how many games they've lost in a row. Seattle led......

Clippers 104, Pacers 89 - Like some other teams in LA, the Clippers are starting to revolve around one star (cough ... Lakers ... cough ... Galaxy). Unlike other teams, it's just temporary. Sam Cassell had 35 points, as Cuttino Mobley and Ruben Patterson were injured in the first quarter. Elton Brand and Shaun Livingston were already out hurt. What didn't hurt were Chris Kaman's 15 points and 22 rebounds ... Somehow the Clippers are......

Ducks 6, Red Wings 3 - Anaheim piled on three goals in the final period to pull away from Detroit. It was an impressive late surge from a team with seemingly as many players on ice as on the ice. Todd Bertuzzi, Todd Marchant, Mathieu Schneider, and Jean-Sebastien Giguere weren't healthy enough to play, and Teemu Selanne and Scott Niedermayer were still thinking about going out on top. Ilya Bryzgalov had 32 saves in Giguere's......

Hello Ducks fans, I'm back to regale you all with my take on the greatest game on earth. When I signed off last time (seemingly for good) the Anaheim Ducks of Los Angeles Anaheim were the glorious winners of Lord Stanley's silver chalice. Fast forward. A lot has changed. Out with Dustin Penner, in with convicted criminal Todd Bertuzzi. Possibly out with Scott Niedermayer, in with Mathieu Schneider. Hopefully out with Teemu Selanne and his......

Hey LA, Welcome to the Stanley Cup Finals! The last time hockey was seen nationally on a channel that you're familiar with was May 19th on NBC. Of course, as everyone knows, that game between the Ottawa Senators and the Buffalo Sabres went into overtime. And somehow, during the overtime, the pucks of hockey were magically transformed into the ponies of the Preakness. In case you’re still wondering who won that series, the Senators......

Ducks 2, Red Wings 1, OT - Down 1-0 with a few ticks left on the clock, Scott Niedermayer hit the back of the net to forced OT. Tweve minutes later Teemu Selanne scored and gave the Ducks a 3-2 series lead over Detroit. Anaheim could win the Western Conference Finals at home on Tuesday night. Angels 4, Dodgers 1 - LAnaheim swept the Freeway Series by a combined score of 19-4. On Sunday Kelvim......

Lakers 116, Blazers 111, OT - Maybe he's got a chip on his shoulder because he never played college ball and everybody's talking about March Madness. Maybe he's angry about all those NBA suspensions and the so-called witch hunt. Either way, Kobe was on fire with 65 points in the Laker's OT victory over Portland. The second highest point total in his career propelled Los Angeles to its first win in their last eight games......

George Takei 1, Tim Hardaway 0 - See video. Suns 115, Clippers 90 - Both teams entered the game with some injury concerns and a three game loosing streak. Both teams saw an injured star return. Only Phoenix ended their loosing streak. Two-time league MVP Steve Nash returned from shoulder trouble to record a double-double, including 8 points and 7 assists in just the first quarter. The game was never in doubt, with Phoenix......

Lakers 111, Celtics 98 - What happens when you piss off arguably the greatest basketball player on the planet? He scores 43 points to go with 8 rebounds and 8 assists. That's what happened with Kobe Bryant, who returned from a questionable one game suspension and helped bury Boston. Kobe's wrath couldn't have come at a worse time for the Celtics, who have lost 13 in a row and sit in the cellar of a......

Flames 3, Ducks 2 - It's safe to say the Ducks didn't waddle into the All-Star break. They fell flat on their bill. After loosing five in a row and 9 of 11, it's a miracle that they still lead the division. While they had one of the greatest season starts in NHL history, their goose was cooked by a string of key injuries. Against Calgary, they quickly fell behind and were trailing 3-0......

Ducks 3, Oilers 2, OT - Anaheim captain Scott Niedermayer's 1,000th game was looking to be a bad night as the Ducks were down 2-0 in the second period, which thrilled the crowd in Edmonton who had come to boo the shit out of their former star Chris Pronger who helped them get one game from winning the cup last year before defecting to America. But after a power-play goal shot by Pronger and......

AP Photo by Jae C. Hong Probably the main reason for the Ducks being eliminated from last season's NHL playoffs was the tower of power on the Edmonton defense named Chris Pronger. So, in the spirit of not being able to lick something, so you join something or other, the Ducks traded for him this off season. Pronger, when combined with Scott Niedermayer, gives the Ducks the best one-two punch on defense that the......
