Missing 8-Year-Old Autistic Boy Found & Briefly Reunited With Parents
Joshua Robb, the 8-year-old autistic boy who went missing in Twin Peaks on Monday morning, was found safe on Tuesday afternoon around 2:30pm. After escaping through the playground gates of Grandview Elementary School around 11am on Monday, search and rescue crews scoured the woods of the San Bernardino Mountains for the boy, battling hard rains and low temperatures at night.

The search continues for Joshua Robb, an 8-year-old autistic boy, who ran away from Grandview Elementary School in Twin Peaks on Monday morning. As many as 25 teenagers were reportedly inside a bus when it collided with another vehicle, hit a tree, knocked out a power pole, and slid down an embankment just before noon on Highway 189 in the San Bernardino Mountains, reports KTLA.
Highway 330 to Big Bear Could Be Closed for 2 Years
A portion of Highway 330, one of the main routes into the San Bernardino Mountains that connects to Big Bear, collapsed as a result of the massive rains that pounded the region in late December. Now Caltrans says it could take their crews up to two years to fix and reopen the route, according to the OC Register.

The 31st annual bald eagle count in the San Bernardino and San Jacinto mountains is slated to begin next weekend and will take place over occasional weekends until mid-March, and the effort is in need of volunteers to take part, reports abc7. The U.S. Forest Service needs people to help them count the eagles, and no prior experience is needed. In fact, Forest Service spokesman John Miller says all you'll need is "some warm clothes, a pair of binoculars and an hour to spare for each count." Man Indicted on 5 Counts of Murder for Starting the 'Old Fire'
The suspected arsonist in the Old Fire that scorched some 90,000 acres of the San Bernardino Mountains was indicted by a jury on 5 counts of murder today. Six people died and 1,000 homes were lost in the October 2003 blaze. Months later on a rainy Christmas day, 14 people died when debris flows swept through a Church camp.
