Tonight RuPaul's Drag Race premieres on LOGO. World of Wonder in Hollywood threw a wild opening party for the show last week filled with drag-themed artwork. The turnout was tremendous and the room quickly went from "SRO" to Fire Marshall at the door". The event was at capacity and under threat of being shut down even before the red carpet was finished. Which left the stars of the show, RuPaul, A-list invitees and certain (cough) photographers stranded outside.
Last week World of Wonder threw an opening celebration for a new incredible exhibit of drag queen themed art. LAist was there to see the most beautiful people in LA arrive in droves to celebrate the upcoming premiere on February 2nd of RuPaul's Drag Race.
The Sundance Film Festival starts today which not only means cool movies being screened and attended by celebrities in their hippest Dumb & Dumber apres-skiwear but it means a lot more content for the Sundance Channel for the year.
