One of the great performances in recent memory. | Photo courtesy of Paramount Vantage If you somehow missed There Will Be Blood in theaters, pick up the DVD today and watch one of our finest actors give his finest performance. Nothing more really needs to be said. Walk Hard got knocked around at the box office over Christmas, but I really liked it. For any fan of the Apatow brand, it's a no-brainer buy.......

I vaguely remember the '80s so the return of American Gladiator to the screen presents me with a nauseating wave of nostalgia that I want to boogie board to the fullest. Then again, I vaguely remember the '70s and the relaunch of the Bionic Woman left a lot to be desired. But hey, we live in America, and with enough boobies and violence, American Gladiator could have the required recipe for success. Friday 8:00pm Flash......

The Autry Center, taking advantage of the holidays, is featuring 5 midday movies just this week. Every day at 2pm, they're screening a western, free after you pay the museum's admission ($7.50). Funny thing is, these aren't your dust-blown classics; they're more of the offbeat-slash-forgotten type. Which is kind of cool: the John Ford/John Wayne pic Three Godfathers, the minimal-dailogue Jeremiah Johnson with Robert Redford, the are-they kidding? Silverado, and ending with the oh......
