After a spate of robberies at the end of August in neighborhoods surrounding the trendy area of Melrose, a couple have been reported recently. One was this morning and another was on Saturday during broad daylight when an ice cream vendor was mugged and pistol whipped near Melrose and Fairfax according to one LAist tipster who submitted the photo seen to the right. more ›
