A man was shot and wounded last night after 2:00 a.m. behind the popular Ritual nightclub on Cahuenga just north of Hollywood Boulevard.

"Why is this night different from all other nights?" you might ask. Well, it's the first night of Passover, and even folks who will be sitting down to a seder somewhere in the Southland tonight will also be asking the same thing, because it's one of four questions that are posed in the traditional pre-dinner ceremony.

Two of my very good friends just returned from Spain and called me on Saturday night to hang out in LA. I asked if they had any special requests and they said that they simply wanted to go to a club, get drunk and dance their booties away. Luckily, I had been put on the list for the Shane West B-day party at newly opened Ritual restaurant and club, so I took my babes....
