LAst Night's Action: Celtics Get Revenge on Clips
Boston Celtics defeat LA Clippers 95-89. Glen “Big Baby” Davis told reporters on Monday that he doesn’t like his moniker. Well given that he was fined $25,000 for shouting obscenities at a fan in Detroit last week and getting into a fight that forced him to miss the first 27 games this season, you can’t say that his nickname is well deserved. And his two points, two rebounds and two fouls in 15 minutes against the Clippers doesn’t help any either. The Clippers got balanced scoring from their players with six players scoring double figures led by Rasual Butler’s 17 points. Marcus Camby added 14 boards in their effort to sweep the season series against the Celtics. After leading at halftime by a point, the Clippers fell to the Celtics in the beginning of the third quarter when the Celtics jumped out to an eight point lead. The Clippers hampered by their 38.8% shooting couldn’t come back. The Clips get a day off before they get to discover the Jersey Shore and the 3-40 Nets.
