One person is dead (now reported as a 50-year-old woman) after they went over the side of a cliff near Point Fermin 1:40 p.m. this afternoon in San Pedro (map). Developing: Body Found at Cliff Near Point Fermin*

Update: The death has been ruled a suicide for a woman in her forties.


One person has been found dead at a cliff near Point Fermin in San Pedro. Specifically, officials have been called to 900 W Paseo del Mar within Angels Gate Park according to Los Angeles Fire Department Spokesman Brian Humphrey. The LAPD is currently investigating as LAFD helicopters await to possibly airlift the body to the Korean Bell of Friendship where the coroner is waiting. more ›
