The missing charter plane bound to John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana from Catalina was found this morning on top of a hill just west of the island's airport. Three burned bodies were found inside. The LA Times found that the pilot, Mark Hogland, was not licensed to fly commercial flights like the one he allegedly was doing when the plane crash.

A small airplane crashed at Santa Monica Airport around 5:05 p.m. tonight leaving at least two people dead inside. "The single-engine airplane crashed during take-off at the west end of the airport runway," according to Ian Gregor, Federal Aviation Administration spokesperson, per KABC. Upon impact, the plane was engulfed in flames. No one on the ground was hurt. It's been a crazy and unfortunate two days in Los Angeles. A police officer also died early this morning in a head on crash on the 10 freeway.
According to MTV News, Adam DJ AM Goldstein has been released from the hospital and is back in Los Angeles. A spokesperson for DJ AM said, "While he is deeply saddened by the events, he is thankful for all of the love and support he has been receiving from fans and friends worldwide. We ask that you continue to respect his privacy as he rests and heals and mourns the loss of his friends." Travis Barker has had multiple surgeries and is still being treated at the Augusta Burn Center for the injuries he sustained in the plane crash last Saturday.
The Van Nuys-bound Learjet carrying DJ AM and former Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker that crashed Saturday morning killing four others has sad twist. One of the victims, Chris Baker who was Barker's personal assistant, lost his brother last month. "Baker's death was the second tragedy to hit the family. Last month, Baker's 24-year-old brother, Rob, was killed in a motorcycle in Sacramento," the SacBee reported.
According to E! Online Travis Barker and DJ AM have been critically injured in a private plane crash in South Carolina. The plane, bound for Van Nuys, went off the runway and crashed in a nearby road. Four people died in the crash including pilot, Sarah Lemmon, co-pilot James Bland, and Travis Barker's assistant Chris Baker.

Flaming pieces of a jet smashed into a home, luggage and body parts strewn about, and police tape everywhere.
