A large building near Pico & 14th Street in Santa Monica went ablaze in the early evening, blocking out the sun (and now the moon) with giant black clouds. Earlier reports believed the fire to be coming from an apartment building, but officials now believe a CD manufacturing company to be the unfortunate burn victim, and the jewel cases are suspected of fueling the fuego.
